Welcome @CoachRee glad to see you as always
I never went to any coaching schools, I just built businesses and knew that I was skilled at building businesses!
@Sherri Cook , welcome to GirlTalkThursday
@lakeishahankins Thank you!!
I did go to business school, but you don’t learn how to build businesses in business school!! LOL
Experience is everything!!!
I’m a vet as well. A lot of jobs in the military are not transferable into civilian work. My husband went right into fedgov work right out of the military. Now, he works for the state of SC, helping veterans and transitioning active duty obtain gainful employment.
How do you feel about how the coaching industry is viewed by entrepreneurs? Many do not want to pay for coaching!!!
Yes!!! Many want your knowledge and experience for FREE so they can go on to make millions!!!
Amen Coach Ree!
Exactlyyy
Yes! I will answer questions, but I won’t coach for free.
YES!!!
You cannot Google direct building knowledge and experience. You only can Google secondary basic information.
Oh, I make wayyyyyyyyyyy more than teachers. Sorry!!
I struggle with getting out of the volunteering and the “Free” zone. Folks swear they cannot afford it. SMH
Wow!!!
Hey Shawn! !!!
Transformation/Self Worth
Have to learn the art of transitioning audience from FREE to FEE.
@BeReeMarkable That’s what I’m doing…..Exactly
I’ve volunteered with local nonprofits for 4 years now…..
Time to start letting the nonprofits know you do not work for free!
Right. You should be listed on their website as their consultant or something valuable that helps lead buyers to you.
No paying clients No…..
@KEOMworks, have you ever had a paying client?
A few but nothing near what I’m worth. I end up reducing because I truly love and enjoy helping women move forward.
Welcome @Becky Doyle
How hard was it for you coaches to set your program cost AND tell them to potential clients?
@KEOMworks, okay. It is time for you to start marketing your business based on what you know that value is. Continue to give. Sounds like you truly like giving, but you have to also make a living.
@BeReeMarkable I really do. I have restrategized. My target audience is more of my issue. But I love the positive feedback and encouragement Thanks
@KEOMworks, what do you mean your target market is your issue? Are you choosing a market based on their needs over yours? I just did a video today talking about demos and psychos in choosing our target audience.
I set my coaching program cost at five figures and I am always amazed when the payment is made!!!! LOL
I have clients who have put my coaching on lay away!!! Dedicated!!
I like that! I gotta get like that lay away ! That’s dedication
Welcome @Virginia Parsons
overdraft your way to success! You have to be willing to step out of your comfort zone!
lol….My passion is with the lower income community, single mothers, women of domestic violence. My heart is to empower them to move forward and PUSH but it’s hard to get them to pay so I end up volunteering at local non-profits to speak and get in front of them. I’m currently writing my book to help build product.
I love Les Brown also…
been there too lollll
oh yeah girl I’m working it but gesshhhh lolll….some folks view coaching like their getting advice from a friend.
IKR
@KEOMworks…you may have to connect with agencies and organizations that serve your audience. I have a client in LA who actually thought she was doomed working with low income — single moms. They should not pay, but there are plenty of B2B opportunities where you can get in and sell your business.
True
Oh yes yes Thanks
@KEOMworks, do you have programs?
@BeReeMarkable Yes indeed
Girl Talk Entrepreneur Style Group Stay Connected: https://www.facebook.com/groups/GirlTalkEntrepreneurStyle/
@KEOMworks…okay, you can create opportunities to package your programs and sell your programs to other businesses, agencies and organizations.
@KEOMworks, connect with me at: ree@inthepinc.net if you have any other questions.
When is the mastermind?
Oh, Okay.
I sent you a friend request you on fb
Any husband’s coming?
Are you guys calling for speakers? Let me know!!!
Great blab
Cool!
